Fish halibut, salmon, and black sea bass in total comfort from the "Callie". Your guide will see to your comfort and safety while getting you in the most productive waters. He will then assist you in catching and landing your trophy fish or that nights dinner. Alaska halibut are known for their strength and endurance. When you finish landing a big halibut, you will know what tired means. They range from 20 to over 310
lbs., averaging between 30-70 lbs. with larger fish common. Halibut is one of the most sought after, both for fighting ability and to eat. The King salmon are awesome in their fight and table quality and certainly a trophy to be proud of. The Coho are plentiful, easier to catch and are great table fare also. Since different times of the summer bring better fishing for each species, the chart at the bottom of this page will help you in deciding what time you want to make your trip.

Fishing and sightseeing on the fantastic waters of Sitka Sound in the heart of Alaska's Tongass national rain forest. The natural wonders and unique beauty of the area, along with the outstanding fishing, will truly astound you.

On a recent trip with us the fishing legend, Roland Martin, was astounded with the great fishery that this area has to offer.

Roland said " It didn't matter what species we decided to fish for, the fish cooperated by hitting our lures hard and fast. Of the many hundreds of trips I have been on over the last 30 years, this will remain as one of the most outstanding trips in my life. Halibut, salmon, black sea bass and many other species, kept our rods bent double all day long, every day."

"The crew worked so hard to make sure that we never had a dull moment and that our every comfort was afforded. What a convenience it was to have the Caledonia to come home to at night with no long rides back to port", Roland continued.
