We're ready for adventure! Are you?
The owner of Alaska and N.W. Charters, LLC is a true connoisseur of hospitality
with twenty-five years of previous success in the Bed & Breakfast industry.
In addition to nautical experience, Penni Manns brings a positive love of life and a desire to share it with others. Ask anyone who has stayed at her premiere
Seattle Guest Houses and they will tell you of many warm experiences: of
conversations shared late-night over a cup of tea, of fresh-baked cookies
left on the counter, of flowers place thoughtfully on the nightstand--of an
open-hearted and family-like atmosphere!
Penni has been involved in the hospitality industry for over a quarter
century as the owner and operator of three extended-stay Bed & Breakfasts
in the Seattle area. Her warm and vivacious personality make her a
pleasure to be around--so say the multitudes of guests who have stayed
with her over the years.
In addition to being a sailing enthusiast with experience in Puget Sound
waters, she was Art Coordinator and Director for the Boeing airplane
company for over 17 years.
Her interior design ability has further manifested itself in the total
restoration of three very large turn-of-the-century homes which she owns
and operates. These homes have been eloquently transformed into a
42 room, extended stay B & B operation with an international clientele.
Penni has taken her innate design talent and transformed the Caledonia
into a modern luxury motor yacht for your chartering pleasure in Southeast
Alaska and the Northwest. All of her energy and design thought has been
pulled together to make your onboard experience highly relaxing and most
memorable.

Chef
Your Chef on the trip will see to it that
you will have the finest in dining experiences. The menu has something for
everyone and if you go away hungry it won't be from lack of food on the table. A
hard day's fishing and sight seeing can build a huge appetite and we will
see that you are full and satisfied.
As we generally catch a lot of local fish, salmon all varieties, halibut,
assorted rock fish, like red snapper and Dungeness crab---we like to offer
our guests the option of their freshly caught fish instead of frozen entrees.
There is really nothing that compares to freshly caught fish it is just
different than frozen that we are all use to in the lower 48 states. Our Chef is able to bring the best out of Alaska's finest fish.
