WHAT TO PACK:
We normally suggest dressing in layers and packing in soft luggage. As we are in the real wilderness do not be concerned with "being the hit of the party" Less is more in this environment and dressing for dinner is reserved for the Captain's dinner on the cruise line that just speed by at 25 knots. We dress very comfortable and very casual. Please do not "over bring" we have a washer/dryer on board.
One pair of shorts and one short sleeve shirt will suffice for the sunny hot days. As I said before the layered look is the best. The more hardy natives wear shorts all summer.
Levis and flannel shirts and a sweater for early morning and a wind breaker. As the day warms pulling off some of the layers. We do have some rain gear on board and having your own is ok too.
Boat type shoes for the boat and a rubber sole boot for fishing and walks in the woods.
We all got a lot of sun last year from mid-May to Mid-July from mid-July on we have 2 days out of 5 with a little rain and then sun in the afternoons. As with any maritime climate the weather can roll in and roll out in a day---never a dull moment.
